Nicol recently shared on Instagram a photo about her debut biographical film, “I Am Nicol David,” which is currently under filming. The film will be produced by ACE Pictures Entertainment, a movie production investment company together with a local digital media house.
It is famous that local and international talents will star in the biopic. The film is going to be scripted in English by two well-known female screenwriters from Malaysia and the United States.
Liz Irving, her coach, is going to be played with a Hollywood actress.
When asked who will portray her, Nicol stated the casting team would do a nationwide casting in Malaysia to find a suitable talent. Auditions will be held in both East and West Malaysia to find anyone to fill negligence Nicol.
ACE Pictures includes a distribution network and ties with sales agencies, so the film won't be played locally but probably make an effort to break into major markets in the usa and Europe, according to the production company.
