
It’s without doubt that the Olympics Tokyo 2022 is what most people are talking about these days. Putting aside our very own Malaysian Flying Fish Prince and the other good looking and skilled male participants, there's also a number of attractive female athletes participating in the competition.
Here are the beauties you may have seen on tv, originating from different backgrounds and representing their countries.
Camila Giorgi
Camila Giorgi, an expert Italian tennis player who won her first ITF title in 2009, made her Grand Slam and main draw debut in the 2011 Wimbledon Championships. Giorgi advanced towards the fourth round from the 2012 Wimbledon Championships on only her second appearance.
Most of her athleisure wear is designed by her mother.
Farah Ann Abdul Hadi
Born in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Farah Ann was born to a Malaysian father and a Canadian mother. To be the true Malaysian that she is, she was representing our country in Women’s artistic gymnastics. Although she came home from Tokyo with no wins, having her being able to even have fun playing the international multi-sport event is a big thing for all of us Malaysians.
Avishag Semberg
The 19-year-old is a taekwondo athlete from Israel and has secured a bronze medal on her country in the women’s 49 kg competition. Becoming Israel’s youngest ever medalist, she were able to beat Turkey's Rukiye Yildirim. She’s even the first Israeli to ever win a taekwondo match at the Olympics.
She is currently inside a relationship with another fellow Israeli taekwondo athlete – Nimrod Krivitzky.
Alica Schmidt
Born in 1998 in Worms, Germany, Alicia Schmidt is really a German runner and is area of the national team for that 4 × 400 metres relay event. Before the Olympics Tokyo 2022, she came in second in the 2022 European Athletics U20 Championships, and third in the same discipline at the 2022 European Athletics U23 Championships.
She’s also sponsored by Puma.
Valentina Acosta Giraldo
Valentina was created in 2000 and is a Colombian archer. She’s now competing within the women’s individual event at the Olympics Tokyo 2022.
