
Rae Morris, four-time Australian makeup artist of the year, and Sarah Laidlaw, four-time Australian Session Stylist of the season, will share their secrets of success with the beauty and hair industry next week
During the full-day event at Sydney's Eternity Playhouse, Morris and Laidlaw will provide “a true behind-the-scenes look into the planning and execution of an editorial photoshoot” while working alongside fashion photographer Jason Ierace because he captures their hair and makeup looks survive stage.
Amy Turner, the director of event organiser Behind the appearance, said the audience will be able to view Morris and Laidlaw's work “through the photographer's lens around the giant screen in high-definition”.
“Rae, Sarah and Jason will require the crowd on the creative journey because they break down a short, define how you can achieve the desired look, talk mood boards and produce the hair and makeup to life in stunning final images.”
Turner said that the event is fantastic for “every hairdresser and makeup artist” who:
