You're young. Your skin is shining. The very last thing you're probably buying at the shop is anti-aging cream. But, you should be starting. In your 20s, your skin is youthful. But, this is the time to act how to ensure that it stays this way. What we do to our skin will appear if we are 40. Here are some tips to keep your skin glowing, and help it age well.
Your diet matters
Reach for water throughout the day. You are supposed to drink six to eight glasses a day, and when you do, you will notice the under eye circles under your eyes disappear. You will also notice those red blemishes vanishing. H2o keeps the skin hydrated, and dried-out skin is much more vulnerable to wrinkles. Which do you want? Also, eat for beauty. Celebrity Esthetician Joanna Vergas says to eat a lot of vegetables, and also have a green juice every day for glowing skin.
Sweat it out
Working out gets your blood flow moving, helping nourish your skin cells. The skin is going to be brighter, but not only that, exercise helps decrease your levels of stress. You know what stress does? Causes wrinkles. This is a win-win situation. Also, exercising can help you sleep better which will help those dark circles beneath your eyes.
Wear SPF
This is exactly what my mom informs me to put on all the time. Honestly, it will help. Ultra violet rays are always there, even on cloudy days. Sun is the number one cause of aging skin, if you wear sunscreen you are able to protect this from happening. Wearing SPF belongs to my morning routine before wearing makeup!
Stop sleeping with your makeup on
It happens, and we are all responsible for it, but try and turn it into a practice of washing it all off before going to sleep. Sleeping with your makeup on blocks pores, and causes breakouts.
Don't forget to exfoliate
Starting to exfoliate now can help your skin in the long run. It'll renew your skin, take away dead skin cells, dirt, and unclog pores. Exfoliating is really a wondrous thing.
Wash the face every day
Get in this habit now. This really is one of the easiest ways to maintain your skin. Look for a nice face wash and merely watch your skin glow.
Don't forget to moisturize
Like I said above, dry skin causes wrinkles, so be sure to hydrate the skin with a nice moisturizer.
I think one of the most important tips would be to stick with your skincare routine. Find one you love, after which don't wander from it. Trust me, your future 40-year-old self will appreciate it. Sometimes products will not work and result in a reaction, and you'll stop. But, never give up. Try a different product, and soon you'll have the perfect routine!
